About Oliver Charles

Oliver Charles Antiques Ltd was formed in 2000, by Allan Gardner.

Allan developed a passion for English classical furniture and Victorian paintings. After many years of dealing in fine art in Hampshire he decided to open premises in the well known town of Petworth, West Sussex. Petworth has become known as a Mecca for fine antiques and art, both nationally and internationally.

Naming the business after his two sons, Allan was able to bring his own individual style to Oliver Charles, where the stock reflects an interesting and eclectic mix. Alongside classic Georgian design one will find furniture with that certain twist, which makes a piece both interesting and highly desirable.

Arranged over two floors, Oliver Charles Antiques provides both the serious collector and those starting out on their collecting journey with the ideal opportunity to find that illusive and unusual piece of art.
